Liu Yang, the first Chinese woman astronaut, has been safely returned to Earth after her mission aboard Shenzhou XIII spacecraft.
The 41-year-old pilot and former People's Liberation Army officer spent 6 months in space, where she conducted scientific experiments, conducted spacewalks and took part in various tasks. She was the first female astronaut from China to complete a manned spaceflight.
